Casino Holdem Reviews

There are tons of online casinos out there. Hundreds. And you have to weed through each one to find a casino worth playing at.

That’s not the worst part. What’s worse is that the majority of them are not worth your time and money.

The good news?

We’ve done the work for you. What we’ve done is review the casinos that offer casino holdem and write up what we find. You’ll find all of the reviews we’ve written below. Read through each of our reviews to determine the best casino for you.

Below we’ve outlined what we cover in our reviews. Read on to see what we look for and why it’s important when choosing a casino to play casino holdem.

Note: The first thing to know about finding a casino for casino holdem is that there are few casinos that offer the game. So you can’t afford to be nearly as picky when choosing a casino. Just keep that in mind while reading below.

Casino Holdem Software and Games

One of the first things that I look for in a casino is alternate versions of their software. All casinos will have a PC download, but not every casino will have a version for Macs or Linux users. Even fewer casinos have games, downloads or apps for mobile devices.

So what you want to look for is a browser based version of the software. These are java or flash based and run within your browser window. The only other options you have as a Mac user is a specific download, or using an emulator on your computer.

If possible, open up the casino holdem games in your browser and check it out. Is the software nice? Is it easy to use? You also want to compare the odds for the AA and Ante Bet. Does one casino payout better than another? While we try to do that research for you, definitely double check before signing up. You could be leaving (easy) money on the table if you don’t.

The last thing that we look at are the other casino games. What games do they offer? Is there anything that distinguishes that casino from the others? The reason why we check out the other casino games is that while we love to play casino holdem, any game will get boring if that’s all you play. So we make sure there is enough variety to keep our interest.

Deposit Bonus

A deposit bonus is a gift given to new players from the casino. It’s an incentive to signup and make a deposit.

Deposit bonuses are usually match bonuses. That means the casino matches a percentage of your deposit to so many dollars. For example, if a casino offered a 100% match up to $500, you’d be matched dollar for dollar up to a max of $500.

The problem you’ll face with a casino holdem bonus is that most casinos do not allow you to play the game while clearing the bonus. If you try, your bonus will most likely be forfeited, as well as any money you may have won.

In a best case scenario you’ll find a casino that allows you to play casino holdem while clearing your bonus, but at a handicap. In other words, all casinos require you to wager so many times your deposit plus bonus. For example, 25x your deposit plus bonus. In the case of casino holdem, you might be handicapped to something like 20%. What that means for you is that if you choose to play casino holdem, you’ll have to rollover your deposit plus bonus 5x (or whatever the math comes out to) as much to clear the same bonus.

Ultimately, what you need to do first is check the terms and conditions of the bonus. Be sure to do this first to make sure you can even take advantage of the bonus. Then compare bonus amounts.

Of course, you can always play other casino games while clearing the bonus.

Banking Methods

Banking methods are important because not every casino will accept a banking method that you want to use. Most casinos accept debit/credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers and checks, but they may not accept the specific debit/credit card or e-wallet you use.

Next, look for and compare fees. Most casinos waive fees, but it doesn’t hurt to check anyway. You don’t want to sign up to a casino, go to cash out your winnings, and then find out that there is a $20 fee.

Last, I recommend looking into withdrawal (processing) times. Depending on your banking method and where you live, this can take hours or it can days. Sub-standard timeframes will be 6-8 weeks. Any longer than this and I would seriously question whether the casino is worth playing at or not.

Doing Your Research on Online Casinos

Last, but just as important, the details behind the casino are important. In other words, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Does the casino accept players from your country? This is especially important for players living in the USA.
  • Is the casino licensed and regulated? Not only are they “supposed to be,” but casinos that are licensed and regulated are held to higher standards. These standards are meant to protect you.
  • Is the site reputable? Are they known to take care of their players and pay all winnings?
  • What about support? How many options do they give you to contact them? Most casinos will offer a contact form, but try to find a casino that provides live chat and phone support too.

And that’s the stuff we look for in a casino holdem online property. As you can see, most of this stuff is no different than if you were just looking for a general casino to play at. These types of reviews ensure that you can find a site where you’ll be happy with the available games, the promotions can be taken advantage while playing casino holdem and there are banking options you can use. If all of your answers to these questions are yes, then you’ve found a solid casino to play at.
